The 2.4GHz Intel Core i3 processor powers the unit, and with the 3MB cache and 4GB (upgradeable to 8GB) of 1600MHz DDR3 RAM powering the system, getting through most programs is not a problem. It includes a 500GB 5400rpm SATA hard drive and features Windows 8 64-bit as the operating system.
