The 7" MID7048-4 Android 4.0 ICS Capacitive Tablet by Coby features a 7" capacitive multi-touch 16:9 screen, 1.0 GHz Cortex A5 processor and 4GB of storage. It also features 1GB of RAM, wireless 802.11 b/g/n connectivity and the Android 4.0 ICS operating system.

The Android 4.0 ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system is more intuitive for gaming, web-surfing and other applications and combined with the ARM Cortex processor, it also means more fluid operation. You can view pages in landscape or portrait mode thanks to the automatic orientation sensor on the 800x480 multi-touch screen. No stylus is needed - the screen senses and interprets hundreds of touch gestures.

Audio is supplied by integrated stereo speakers and an internal microphone, and the MID7048-4 includes a USB 2.0 port and a microSDHC slot, which allows you to expand your storage up to 32GB with an optional (sold separately) microSDHC card. The tablet runs on a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery.

Applications are provided via GetJar, a free Android application marketplace currently offering about 150,000 apps. The unit comes preinstalled with eReader, eMusic, Browser, Calendar, Email, Clock, Calculator and Gallery (Photos & Videos) apps. You can even download MobiSystems OfficeSuite Viewer which lets you view and share Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF files and attachments.
