Available for download, Sugar Bytes Effectrix is a tool that allows you to add and implement a variety of effects in a sequencer-based manner. Use it on any track in your mix to create bespoke and esoteric effecs. It is suitable for pro audio mixing and sound design.
The GUI of Effectrix is set up like a grid. On the left of the grid, you'll see the effects you can choose. These are multitudinous, from phasing, to bit-crushing, to time stretching are all available. In total, you have 14 indivudual effects to choose from, and you can use all of them at the same time if you wish.
Click on any of these effects and a tab opens up at the bottom of the screen displaying parameters that you can adjust to suit your needs. To the right of this effects list, you'll notice 32 slots for you to fill in as you see fit. These are the steps of your sequencer. You'll note other features as well, such as two modulator tracks for extra sonic manipulation, as well as the ability to recall up to 12 patterns from any compatible MIDI controller.
This software is available for use in Mac and Windows operating systems. It can operate in VST, AU, and AAX plug-in formats.
