Separating this instrument from other guitar soundalikes, Guitarist turns the guitar itself into a 16-step sequencer for you to trigger by playing notes, different styles, arpeggiations, and more. Choose from stock chords, or build your own chord shapes, which you can save in the user panel.
An Animations page enables more customization with a human feel, essentially allowing you to enrich chords with harmonic variations. An Action Section, on the other hand, lets you loop parts instantly, or dampen/deaden notes.
The software offers three distinct guitars, recorded with 2000 samples. Enable round-robin to foster a feeling of realism in repeated notes. When you've got the sound you want, process it through two different effect sections each loaded with processors that add color and character.
This software is available for Mac and Windows operating systems. It can operate in VST2, AU, and AAX formats, as well as standalone.

Pattern Sequencer
Determine if a chord is triggered, which strings are played, and if the strum goes upward or downward. The playing style (normal, dead, or dampened) can be determined and the strum speed can be made slower or faster (a double strum can be triggered). Slides, bends, vibratos, and portamentos can be made, and strings can be stopped at any time.
Chord Sequencer
Create chord progresions from the factory chords or self-made user chords. Each step of the chord sequencer can be repeated up to 16 times. That way you can create long-lasting compositions, and change chords earlier or later.
Animation
With the Animation feature, each virtual finger can be moved up or downward by 3 seminotes. You can use it for melodies and alternating chords, and bring immediate life to your riff.
Song
Combine 24 available patterns to create songs or complex riffs. Each step of the pattern sequencer can be repeated up to 16 times, which allows long pattern progressions and pattern changes at uneven times.
Action Section
Real-time action to tweak the pattern with just pressing a button. Quickly apply a looper or timestretcher, slow the sequencer down, or force dead- or dampened notes.
Amp
Two amp models are available as well as a direct out mode for your favorite amp-emulator software.
Effects
Two effect-units with 10 effects altogether provide the colors you are looking for. Additionally there is a multimode wah pedal that provides a classical wah, talk wah, and volume pedal/tremolo mode.
Guitar
Each finger on the fretboard shows its note name, which makes it easy to identify, alternate, and create chords. Twenty-four chords can be saved on the Chord Board to be called up with the Sequencer or with your keyboard.
Keyboard
Here the sequencer is triggered, and the 24 User Chords and Patterns are called up for playback and editing.
