Wooden Camera 150600 Reviews

High quality materials but flawed and overpriced

Its difficult to find a long rosette arm so I conceded to pay the eye watering price for Wooden Camera's, expecting their typically premium build quality. However, I quickly realised that the length of the thumb screw was much shorter than those that I already owned on other rosette arms. See the attached photo to see a comparison between the WC screw length (right) and a Small Rig screw length (left). What this means is if you loosen the thumbscrew 1.5 turns it will completely disconnect with whatever rosette accessory it's attached to. It usually takes 1.5 turns of a thumb screw for the rosette teeth to be spaced enough for you to rotate the arm so I see this as a real hazard when used in the field. I experimented with switching the 2 thumb screws in the photo, which rendered the other arm useless, and then decided I was not going to pay $250 for an arm that needed replacement parts. Will be returning this
