Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 & Premiere Elements 11 for Mac and Windows is a software bundle that combines all the tools you'll need to organize, edit, enhance, and share your videos and photos with your closest friends – or the world. Both Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements are based on Adobe's industry-leading professional software programs for photo and video editing. The Elements versions borrow many of the best features from those programs, while adding automated tools that make it supremely easy to add a professional sheen to any digital photo or movie.
Photoshop Elements features Guided Edits, which walk you step by step through the process of adding advanced effects to your photos, such as depth of field simulation. On the video side, Premiere Elements 11 features advanced color-enhancement tools as well as themes for its InstantMovie tool, which performs an automatic edit of your best footage, complete with titles and music, based on a chosen cinematic theme.
Photoshop Elements & Premiere Elements offers a shared Organizer that serves as the central hub of your two programs. This becomes increasingly important as storage cost-per-gigabyte goes down and the number of photo and video files that you accumulate continues to skyrocket. Photoshop Elements features an intelligent Object Search feature that lets you search based on a specific object in a photo. You can also organize photos and videos based on visual tags, and tag photos for Facebook upload using your Friends list.
Photoshop Elements 11 improves upon version 10 in a number of key ways, starting with a brighter, more intuitive user interface. It's easier to navigate and still gives you the flexibility to customize it to your liking. Version 11 also advances the Photoshop Elements program via new Guided Edits and Filter Effects, as well as enhanced object selection. Plus, you can now import third party actions and take advantage of Adobe Revel connectivity.
Premiere Elements has also experienced an overhaul of its user interface in version 11. The interface is now larger, brighter and easier to read and navigate. Easily-accessed pop-up menus prevent the interface from feeling cluttered, while enabling you to utilize every tool with just a few clicks. Video editing is simplified and improved with easy color adjustments, Hollywood FilmLooks, and slow- and fast-motion effects, as well as blend modes and 64-bit Mac OS X support.
For both Photoshop and Premiere Elements 11, you can now perform Google maps geo-tagging and share videos to Vimeo. You can also print to CeWe (EMEA).

Enhanced User Interface
Now brighter and more intuitive, the Elements 11 UI with its intuitive Organizer makes it easier to navigate through, view and manage your pictures based on people, places and events. Choose People to filter your library down to just the photos that have a specific person in them. In Places, Map view allows you to zoom in on a particular location in the world and see which photos you captured there. Events organizes your images around what was going on when you captured them, such as a holiday, a sporting event or concert, or a day at the beach. Additionally, you can choose whatever kind of tag best suits each photo, such as the name of your pet or a particular craft that interests you, to quickly find all photos bearing that tag later. The Smart Tag feature automatically analyzes all your photos and videos to make finding them even faster. Quickly locate all blurry shots so you can delete them, or all in-focus shots to find your best work right away. Bigger, bolder icons, an Action bar, and the ability to select Quick, Guided and Expert editing modes all help simplify the tasks of organizing, editing and creating. You still have the flexibility to customize the interface to your liking
Quick Editing Mode
Make fast fixes to your photos, selecting from drop-down menus for Smart Fix, Lighting, Color, Balance and Sharpen. Lighting, for example, gives you adjustment options for Shadows, Midtones, Highlights and Exposure. With just a click, you can make significant improvements to your images in the Quick editing mode
Guided Edits
For a more in-depth, step-by-step walkthrough for making finer, more detailed fixes to your images, choose the Guided editing mode. Produce professional-grade effects by following intuitive steps in over 25 Guided Edits. Some of the new options at your disposal include Vignette, Tilt-Shift, and High/Low Key. Vignette effects draw attention to the center of your photo, Tilt-Shift effects make your images look like miniature scenes, and High/Low Key effects add energy or drama with high levels of white or black. Choose from Touchups like Adjust Levels, Brightness and Contrast, Correct Skin Tones, Crop Photo, Enhance Colors, Lighten and Darken, Perfect Portrait, Recompose, Remove a Color Cast, Rotate and Straighten, Scratches and Blemishes, and Sharpen. Sliders let you fine-tune these touchups

New options give you more creative possibilities, including transforming your photos into illustrations: Just click to apply Comic, Graphic Novel, and Pen & Ink filters. You can choose from presets within each filter effect to further customize the look of your images: Try Painted Gray, Fine Detail, Hard Edges and Twisted Plot for the Graphic Novel filter; Comic, Grayscale, Sunny Day and Old Print for the Comic filter; or Basic Blue, Purple, Gray Tones and Green Inversion for Pen & Ink. Plus, sliders give you the ability to fine tune the presets, adjusting qualities like darkness, contrast and vibrance. You can also add further touches, like changing the blend mode to Luminosity, instantly turning a Painted Gray Graphic Novel picture into a color one
