It's difficult to say, scanning is scanning and there are many options, but the DS-50000 Color scanner works and. works with Acrobat, and fits my needs. I now own three Epson scanning devices and Epson printer. They all juts work. That's the 5 stars

Will this scan 12x12 scrapbook pages. There is a conflict of information. Some indicates the scan bed is 11.7 inches. Others is that it is 11 inches. I could probably use it if it accommodates 11.7 inches.
Yes, but it will cut off the last .3 inches of your paper since it does only does 11.7. But other than that, it would be a good purchase.

Can not get DS5000 to run on Windows 10 computer. Am using VueScan. Have tried everything, I think. Will run on my Windows 7 computer, but not my Windows 10. What software should one use for the Windows 10?

I recently bought a WorkForce DS 500000 to scan forty years of journals that include photographs. I have found the scanner to be very fast while producing high quality 600 dpi scans. The large bed allows me to open my 8.5x11 inch journals, producing a file that is 11x17 inches in size, with some room around the edge. I highly recommend this scanner.

The scan bed is 17 1/4 inches by 12 1/4 inches so scanning the photos is no problem.You would simply have to reposition the board to scan everything on it.The lid lifts off completely.
