question

Is this camera any good for live productions like the studio camera???
Asked by: Andre A.
This is meant for digital cinema productions and it's feature set is geared toward that. However, depending on your situation, this camera certainly can be used in a video studio. It would be much better than a DSLR for example.

question

I know the battery attaches to the bottom of the camera where the tripod would attach. Is there a hole in the bottom of the battery to allow a tripod to attach to it? I am looking at the Core SWX PowerBase 70.
Asked by: Anonymous
The battery is inside the camera. There are several mounting points.

question

If I use my ef 24-105mm f4 (or any other slr lens), can I still control the aperture on this camera, or will I be locked at f4?
Asked by: Aaron S.
If you have a lens with an electronic Canon EF mount, you will have control over the iris of the lens.

question

Can I put a kowa 6mm f / 1.8 lens with a c-mount adapter to mft? If so, the image would be the same as in a bmpcc? Thank you
Asked by: Adrian G.
The pocket camera and the cinema camera have different sensor sizes. I'm certain that you would get vignetting with that lens/camera combo.

question

Do you recommend 2.5K over 4K? The extra stop of dynamic range and RAW uncompressed is a fair advantage, does anybody think it surpasses the 4K Production Camera?
Asked by: Jacob A.
It comes down to what the job is and personal preference I would say. I came from using cameras of much more limited DR so losing a stop is less an issue as compared to getting the advantage of 4K with it's increase in image quality. On the other hand, if you need all the DR you can get and 2.5K is enough for your purposes, then go that way. Remember to consider your lenses as well since the 2.5K sensor is smaller and you may have to get a wider wide angle lens for it.
