question

I have a Fujinon 20-120 ( front diameter unknown) and a sigma cine zoom with a 95mm front diameter. Can I use this matte box without rods on my FS7? What rings do I need ?
Asked by: Adam W.
The 20-120mm Cabrio / T3.5(XK6x20) has a 114mm front. The O-Box has a maximum lens diameter of 150 mm (5.9 in.) So you need to go from 150 to 114mm with this OConnor Step-Down Clamp Ring (150-114mm, Refurbished) B&H # OCC12431123D. For the Sigma, you might try this. Bright Tangerine 150 to 95mm Clamp-On Ring for Viv & Viv 5 B&H # BRB12501012. We do not know the efficacy of this adapter ring.

I see the video in the overview has side flags, but they're not included with the package or in the accessories category?
Asked by: Gustavo
The OConnor O-BOX WM Set (15mm LWS) can have the additional side flags purchased separately but it does not come with them.

question

their 15mm rods will not fit into the bottom of the cage. Any suggestions?
Asked by: Adam
I take it that you have a camera cage that has 15mm rod mounts and the OConnor rods are not fitting. Since the 15mm LWS is an industry standard, I would be inclined to think the OConnor rods are correct and the issue lies in the cage's 15mm mounts. Make sure the locks of the cage 15mm mounts are off and please try again. If still no go, then please either return the OConnor matte box, or try a set of rods from the cage manufacturer or, if you are so inclined, enlarge the cage's 15mm rod mounts.

Can the mattebox be risen from the LWS rod? Or it’s a fixed height? Is there an accessory to do that?
Asked by: Ruoyu
The world-wide LWS standard from the 15mm rods to the center of the matte box is 85mm. So if the height needs to be changed, it is done to the rails not the matte box. Here is one solution. Others depend on what baseplate you are using. Zacuto VCT Tall Rod Riser BH #ZAZVCTTR • MFR #Z-VCT-TR
