The WCV-100D from Fujinon is a 0.8x Standard Definition Wide Angle Converter designed for professional broadcast and ENG production. It is designed to allow zooming throughout the entire range of the lens while maintaining a sharp image. The WCV-100D gives you the option to shoot in tighter spaces with the same lens than you could if you didn't have the converter. Because the WCV-100C decreases the M.O.D., you can hold objects in focus closer to the camera than without the converter.
The WCV-100D is designed for Standard Definition image capture, and mounts by clamping on to the front of ENG lenses with a front outside barrel diameter of 100 mm.
Sharp Throughout the Zoom Range
The WCV-100D is a Wide Angle Converter, and different from a Wide Angle Attachment. The WCV-100D will hold focus throughout the zoom range of the lens, while a Wide Angle Attachment only holds focus near the wide end of the zoom range.
100 mm Clamp-on Design
With its clamp-on design, the WCV-100D will fit broadcast and ENG lenses with a 100 mm front outside barrel diameter. It works with the following Fujinon lenses:
