Does this include some type of way to save or store the recorded audio? Or do you recommend another product to buy that will fit well with saving the audio for this MKE?
No, these are just the parts shown. The kit is intended to be used in conjunction with a video camera or audio recorder. I use it as a boom to record interviews and testimonials in the studio or in the field with my Panasonic GH4.

Can it receive a signal from a 3.5mm cord but also be permanently powered with an ac adapter so it's not eating up batteries? Using a mirrorless camera in my studio so it doesn't have phantom power.
The MKE600 can be powered by a standard AA battery if you camera won't supply phantom power. some of the cameras with 3.5mm connections do provide power. In my case, I added a Beachtek adapter that provides phantom power and also give me better preamp control and allows two microphones on the stereo 3.5mm jack of my GH4.

Is it possible to use this mic package for online ...
Is it possible to use this mic package for online video meetings on computer? If so how is it set up and are all cables included? What cables or other equipment would be required. I would like to use this kit for videos on my DSLR but also use the same mic gear for my online meetings. What other equipment would I need to factor in, if needed, for video conference calls or online interviews?
You can definitely use the mic with your computer for video meetings or recording. All you will need is a USB audio interface. You can use a very basic interface such as the Polsen XLR-USB-48 XLR to USB Audio Interface (B&H# POXLRUSB48) which can supply phantom power to the mic so you don't need to power the mic with a battery. The interface has an XLR input on one side to connect the mic and the other side has a USB port for the included USB cable which connects to your computer's USB port. The XLR-USB-48 has a built-in headphone jack with a volume control to monitor the audio. No special drivers are required and it works with Mac and Windows. Please feel free to contact us directly if you have additional questions or would like further assistance. We do have many other options for USB audio interfaces if you would prefer something with more features.

The XLR connector on the MKE 600 appears to be ...
The XLR connector on the MKE 600 appears to be upside down, is this the case with all Sennheiser shotgun mics, or just the MKE 600?
I never mentioned it's performance, However, if you simply "look" at the microphone, you will see that the the prongs are upside down from other mics (one prong on top, two on the bottom. Therefore, when using an XLR cable with a right angle, it points up instead of down. Is this more clear? My question is the same... is this normal for the German made Sennheiser mics OR just the MKE 600?
