The SmartMyk Directional Microphone for DSLR & Video Cameras from MyMyk is a battery operated hypercardioid, electret condenser microphone for capturing audio. It can be used for applications such as home videos, internet broadcasting, interviews, and more.
The mic is made from a durable polycarbon ABS material and features an integrated shockmount that's made from a synthetic TPE material, which is weather-resistant and also supports use in extreme cold conditions.
Furthermore, the SmartMyk also features a detachable foam windshield and a flexible coiled connection cable with a 1/8" gold stereo mini-jack plug. The mic is powered by a 3V CR 2032 button-cell battery (not included), which supports over 200 hours of continuous use. It's also equipped with a stainless steel shoe mount.
