Reflecmedia RM3241 Overview

Reflecmedia's Chromatte fabric is designed to work in conjunction with a LiteRing. The LiteRing features Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) that are arranged in a circular casing that is positioned in front of the camera lens. The Reflecmedia RM 3241USK Large Blue LiteRing Kit includes a Large LiteRing with a 147 mm internal diameter and a 127 mm lens adapter. The included controller regulates light intensity and is powered by 12VDC from the provided multi-voltage power supply.

The Reflecmedia Dual LiteRing is designed to fit snugly around the camera lens to provide perfect illumination of the Reflecmedia Chromatte background for chroma key production.
Lightweight and detachable in seconds, the LiteRing is fixed to the camera and is positioned slightly behind the front of the lens.
Traditional chroma key often requires that you relight the background for each camera set up. With the LiteRing attached to the camera you can move from 90° head on, to approximately 10° from horizontal with only a slight adjustment on the included LiteRing Controller to effect a chroma key.
Ideal shooting distances depend on a number of variables including levels of ambient light, choice of keying applications, camera quality and filming formats. As a rule the subject should be further than 8' (2.4 m) from the camera to avoid a blue or green cast of light. Maximum distance rises up to approximately 60' (18.3 m).
