The black Minibee-110 PL Compact Backpack from Kata is a small backpack designed to hold your DSLR (without grip) and a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens attached. It also has room for 3-4 more lenses, flash and accessories. There's also a separate rear 11" laptop compartment as well as a slip-in pocket for your iPad/tablet or eReader.
The pack is designed to also hold personal items. By using the included yellow Aeriform dividers, you can configure the interior to accommodate your gear. The yellow coloring gives you extra light when you are using the pack in marginal light. A rear tripod holder is provided using the included straps and sling that holds the tripod's feet. The holder can be attached to various locations on the pack to suit your need. Smaller tripods can be carried on the side of the pack using the tripod holder. The exterior top organizer pocket holds personals such as wallet, tickets, ID. It's here you'll have the slip-in pocket for your iPad or tablet.
The pack is made from a combination of ripstop nylon and polyethylene and supported by a rib structure and aluminum stave (rod). There's also a spring steel spine guard for added support while carrying the pack.
The Gecko harness is made with molded EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) foam straps and tapered as well as cushioned for additional comfort. A waist belt and sternum strap will help you maintain balance and weight distribution. A top grab handle is included for rapid access from the trunk of your car or luggage rack. The Minibee 110 is Insertrolley compatible. You can thread the pack through the rear trolley sleeve for use with your optional rolling luggage cart. The zippers are lockable. There is a rubber/plastic connector mid-way on the back of the bag. If you close the zippers and put this through the parachute zipper pull, it essentially locks the bag.
The Pack comes with a rain cover that serves multiple purposes. It's two-sided with the black side for rain protection and the silver side for heat deflection, dust cover or even a reflector if needed. This pack accepts KATA's optional Modi-vers system. These are dividers that can be cut and fitted inside the pack to further configure the Minibee to suit your gear needs. The pack comes with a 5-year warranty from KATA.
