The Laird Telemedia LDC-3D-2D-HD 3D HD 1080P Demultiplexer can convert 3D HDMI streams to 2D and can select either the left or right fields for viewing exclusively. When 2 units are used 3D video can be recreated with 2 projectors for 3D viewing on larger screens. This demultiplexer can bring the 3D contents through your existing HDMI TV and display equipment. This 3D demultiplexer can split HDMI 3D content into HDMI 2D content. When 2 units are used with a 1x2 HDMI splitter or distribution amplifier, 1 unit can be set for left frame content & 1 for right, and with two 2D projectors, 3D content can be recreated and projected. This system can automatically detect 3D or 2D content on the input, when the unit detects the contents are in 3D, the system will check the content for either side-by-side or frame-packing types of 3D multiplexing and automatically select the de-multiplexing required to divide the 3D into the selected 2D: left or right depending on which is selected via front panel buttons.
