This is not a typical case use. We would recommend checking with Matrox to ensure your computer and this product together will support each other. Matrox 1-800-804-6243

question
Any plans for Matrox in the next version to support 4K resolution monitors over DP or HDMI2?
We do not have information on future Matrox products unfortunately.

question
Do the outputs pass analog data as well, for passive conversion from DP/DVI output to VGA displays?
No, the outputs are digital mini-DP. You'll need an active full-sized DP to VGA adapter. You always should do active conversion from digital to analog. Take a look at Accell B101B-003B. The reason I say full sized DP to VGA is that if you get a mini-DP adapter, it will not have the security screws that Matrox's mini-DP adapters have and the cables can move around. We have no fewer than 20 of these cards in production at client and we do different conversions to DVI (adapters included) and DP to HDMI. Hope this helps!
