The Echo Express SE eSATA Pro 4-Port Thunderbolt Adapter from Sonnet allows addition of 6 Gb/s eSATA connectivity to your iMac, Mac mini, MacBook Air, or MacBook Pro computer with a Thunderbolt port. This adapter allows you to connect eSATA port equipped single and multi-drive storage systems. This gives you the advantage of the eSATA 6 Gb/s throughput which is superior to all FireWire and USB interfaces. This device is designed for optimum performance when connected to your Thunderbolt port. The adapter's optimized design supports aggregate transfer speeds of up to 760 MB/s.
Simply connect the adapter to the host computer via a Thunderbolt cable* and to storage device via eSATA cables*. You can plug in the included power supply and configure the attached storage using the OS X Disk Utility application. The two Thunderbolt ports support daisy chaining of up to six devices to a single port on the host computer.
