I'm using vello battery grip attached to my nikon D7100. I'm quite afraid to used this connected to the battery grip. We all know that the knock-off grip is made of plastic. Any advise?
The Vello grip is well made and you can use the Sling Strap with the grip with the camera and standard size lenses. If you use a really large lens with a tripod collar, I recommend connecting the strap to the tripod mount on the tripod collar instead of the bottom of the grip.
