Works right out of the box. You don't need a computer so it frees me up to continue editing video projects. Records and compares the duplicated USB Drives to assure that they are 100% like the original master USB Drive. I mainly do HD Video projects which could have errors and it has a pass-fail readout after the duplication. One feature I wish the company would give it is the ability to format the USB Drives to NTSC for large Video files that need more than the 4GB limit that the Fat 32 format has which is the default format of USB Drives, All in all a very good,, easy and dependable duplicator. Saves a lot of time,
