The HD5 Underwater Housing for Sony HDR-CX580V Camcorder from Equinox is a durable waterproof case for your Sony HDR-CX580V camcorder. It enables you to shoot beneath the surface to a maximum depth of 330' (100.6 m).
The housing provides access to essential camcorder functions via manual mechanical controls. It's constructed from thermal-based polyvinyl carbonate, and is equipped with an integrated dome lens port. It also comes with a wide-angle lens, which enables you to get close to your subject while fitting more in the frame, thus cutting down on distortion caused by the water and improving contrast and color, while providing a greater angle of view. The BRS / Ballast Release System provides two benefits: Easy travel and fast transport to the surface, should you run into trouble during your dive.
