Lightweight at only 1 lb the head can support up to a maximum of 15 lb's making it suitable for heavier metal-bodied cameras and telephoto lenses. A working height of 5.2" lends to the head's simple and compact dual handle design. Both twist-lock handles allow the photographer to achieve smooth, fluid movement along the pan, tilt, and roll axis. The larger main handle controls both the vertical tilt and pan action for smooth camera positioning while shooting stills. The smaller side handle independently controls the diagonal rolling action for leveling horizons or placing your camera in the 90° portrait angle.
Featuring a ⅜"-16 bottom thread, the head can be attached to nearly any standard tripod or monopod with the option for a removable head. For easy camera mounting the head includes a quick release plate with a standard ¼"-20 mounting screw. The head is also marked with degree indexing for precise movement and features three independent bubble levels for positioning accuracy.
