The Qnap TS-879-PRO 8-Bay iSCSI + NAS Storage Solution is a secure, reliable, and easily-managed storage solution. Serving as both IP-SAN (iSCSI) and NAS, the TS-879-PRO can be effectively employed for various business and enterprise applications, including backup center, disaster recovery, file sharing, virtualization and video editing storage.

The TS-879-PRO is VMware, Citrix and Hyper-V ready. It's also 10 GbE (Gigabit Ethernet) ready, reaching over 1,000 MB/s and 100,000 IOPS. The storage device boasts a multi-core processor and DDR3 memory. It utilizes the SATA III interface, offering blazing-fast data transfer rates of up to 6.0 Gb/s! A versatile solution, it also features USB SuperSpeed 3.0 connectivity, which offers data rates up to 5.0 Gb/s. The TS-879-PRO features RAID for data protection and is Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and UNIX compatible.
