The Olympus XZ-1 Digital Camera Kit with PT-050 Underwater Housing from B&H Photo combines this quality compact camera with an underwater housing unit designed specifically for it. The XZ-1 is a compact camera that delivers exceptional picture quality--beautiful 10MP photos and 720p HD video with its super bright 4x wide-angle f/1.8 zoom lens and large 1/1.63" CCD sensor. The lens on the XZ-1 is a 6-24mm zoom which is equivalent to 28-112mm in the 35mm format. Using the brilliant 3.0" OLED monitor with 610K dots of resolution, you can compose and view photos and the camera's dual image stabilization and ISO up to 3200 will allow for clear, blur-free photos even in dim light or underwater.

Six in-camera art filters--Pop Art, Soft Focus, Grainy Film, Pin Hole, Diorama and Dramatic Tone--help bring out your artistic side in stills and video. A panorama mode allows you to produce amazing ultra wide-angle panoramas by just shooting three pictures while you slowly sweep the camera across the scene--no tripod required. An accessory port allows the use of the SEMA-1 microphone adapter set and the VF-2 electronic viewfinder (both available separately). Advanced Face Detection improves every portrait and AF tracking helps you keep moving subjects always sharp and in-focus. The included PT-050 Underwater Housing allows you to take to XZ-1 with you as you dive the depths of the ocean or play in your backyard pool. The PT-050 is waterproof up to a water pressure equivalent of 131' (40m) and allows for control of all camera functions. A strong polycarbonate construction keeps water out but also protects the camera from impact during active photography. A screw mount for attaching converter lenses and filters is provided as is a tripod socket for attaching a lighting tray. The camera's built-in flash can be used through the housing and an optical connection is available to use with an external underwater flash. Numerous accessories are available from Olympus to enhance underwater shooting with the PT-050 and XZ-1.
