    SanDisk CZ80 Reviews

32GB Extreme USB 3.0 Flash Drive is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 65.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome USB Drive I use my USB drive for back up and file transferring between computers as most users, and I can say that its performance is almost incomparable to regular USB 2.0 drives. Benchmark results are close generically speaking to a Kingston Hyper X, but for about half the price if you go 64GB. Also, its casing is very nice, you don't have to worry about losing the cap as the plug slides out firmly but effortlessly (in my opinion that's a cool feature). Finally, I got the 32GB because the write speed gets up to 110MB/s (16GB gets about 55MB/s write speed, and I believe 64GB gets up to 170MB/s)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Spring Mechanism I attached the drive to a key chain I carry in my pocket. For some reason I got in the habit of extending and retracting the USB connector in my pocket. Just a kinda of idle habit. After a few months the spring mechanism failed. I guess that would not be considered normal use. Still, they might consider strengthening the mechanism. I wonder how long they last under normal use? Otherwise it has been an excellent drive. I plan to buy another one as a replacement. Not as rugged as the Titanium has been. I wish they would use the Titanium case and mechanism for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as advertised Product was pretty easy to use out of the box. Loaded some fitness videos onto the flash drive and can run the videos directly from there without any issues (no stalls/interruptions). Other reviewers are right that it's a little longer than your average flash drive, but not by much - I don't see it as a big deal (if anything it helps you pick it out from a crowd if you have a lot of them). Retracting USB works easily, but will see if that holds up over time. Very happpy with the product at this point. Was also a great price - thanks B&H!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast I am using this as a multi-boot drive for running, and installing, Linux. Copying .iso files to it was nearly instantaneous. Benchmarks are nearly the equal of my SSD. This drive is noticeably faster than the PNY Turbo (USB 3.0) drive that it replaced - it was a good value, but I misplaced it...the Sandisk was on sale and has many rave reviews, so I made the jump. Everything has been positive so far. The Sandisk Extreme 3.0 sticks are spendy, but if speed is important, don't hesitate.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The WORST Flash Drive I Have Ever Owned I went all the way to New York to buy this in person. It is the worst flash drive I have ever bought and owned. First: You cannot format it exFAT, only FAT32 and NTFS per the devices firmware. Second, the drive had to be initialized first through the Disk Management in Windows 7 because it is not recognized until it is partitioned MBR or GBT. Right there should have been a red flag but I did not find this out until I got home. I will NEVER buy another Sandisk flash drive again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nicely made fast flash drive It is the fastest flash drive I have used up to date. In copying files to the drive I got sustained write of about 70 MB/s. It is very well made from nice plastics and it feels expensive. The switch that glides teh USB connector in and out for a first time feels easy and pleasant to do compared to other similar drives without any play of the moving parts whatsoever. Good price for what you get. Lifetime warranty is nice too. Overall highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FAST and reliable all the time I use this for a wide variety of transfers, from large individual files to collections of tens of thousands of small files. It works well no matter what I throw at it. I've run various benchmarks which show there's a real basis for the speed. One caution: you will ONLY get better speed with a good USB 3 implementation. Some USB3 interfaces are slow... and thus provide no speed gain no matter what you plug in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow...this drive is really fast! I use this drive as a boot disk for OSX and it runs really fast! Even on machines that only have USB 2.0 speeds it seems way faster. I had no idea a USB drive could differ in perfomance so much until I actually used this one. It is a little large in physical size...i wish it was smaller. I do like that it has no cap and the USB end slides back into itself. There is no cap to lose!
