    AAXA Technologies P300 reviews

P300 500 Lumen HD Pico Projector is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 30.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome little device Awesome image from this projector. I was able to get an 90 inch screen easily. Didn't use the mini tripod that came with it but used a super clamp and tripod head I got left around.so I can't say much about the tripod it came with. This device works great if you have complete control of your room lighting, if you don't then then the only time you will be able use it is at night, which can be an inconvenience for some. There is only two things I can think of that can be improved, the first is to have an auto sleep function built in,and the second is to have more control on skewing the image or resizing the image from the projector.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Impressive little projector I bought this for a friend, and I was impressed with its brightness. I use a full-sized 1080P projector on my 168 diagonal painted-on screen, and I found that the P300 managed to look pretty good with the same sized image. It needed a little tweaking to get the colors right, but after that it looked pretty good, with true HD performance. I'd say the only weak link is its anemic little built-in speakers, but with an audio-out jack that is easily remedied. Also, too bad you have to buy the battery separately.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent pocket projector I am a professor at an arts university and was looking for a light, compact, portable presentation solution for on- and off-campus presentations. This projector is good under optimal conditions, being low lighting and surface height that allows the projector to be at the appropriate height for your screen as there is not a keystone correction feature. It also has good a/v in connectivity. Drawbacks include, lack of carrying case, the projector body and components feel a little cheaply made, and the sound is tinny, which is to be expected from such a small speaker. Does the job, I just wish there was a case and that the projector and parts felt more solid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from bright, small, and extremely versatile I use this thing in my game room, everyone was telling me to get something brighter but the room is pretty small so I figured I could use this for games and use it for the classroom, and I was totally right. It's really bright, if you're using a projector you're already knocking out the lights or in a dark environment, so it's already super bright for its price and features. On top of that it works pretty well in my classroom and I don't have to turn all the lights off for a quick power point presentation, just load the slides as jpegs and it's an all-in-one no laptop needed projector.I recommend this to anyone looking to buy one, but not invest over $.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing My organization give presentations at schools all over the district. We present in classrooms, libraries, and even in cafeterias. The light in the projector is not bright at all, so the room has to be completely dark in order for everyone to see what's on the screen. The projector doesn't have the ability to move in and out of focus, so you physically have to move the projector forward or back in order for it to fit a white screen. The buttons are very sensitive and when lightly touched, the menu pops up. The wires do not hook well to the projector (bad connection) so they unhook easily, if you slightly move the table that the projector is on. Overall, this projector did not live up to our expectations.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Small HD Projector Does the Job I needed a compact projector for a presentation and this one fit the bill! It's small enough to carry with you, comes with a tiny tripod, and also has an AC brick. The AC cord is short, so you'll want to bring an extension with you. The projector also magnifies considerably at short distances. For example, at approximately eight feet away from the wall the vertical screen size is about five feet, meaning the image in the screen is five feet tall. This works great in smaller rooms, but it might be a challenge in larger rooms with greater screen distances. You'll also want to have a darker room to display your projection. The room I was in could be considered a standard office with florescent lights, and I opted to turn the lights off because the images wasn't as clear or sharp with the lights on. The images is very clear, but focusing is a challenge with the manual wheel on the side. Focus is also not uniform. At maximum resolution the middle of the screen will be in sharp focus while the edges may get slightly blurry. Not a deal breaker, but something you should be aware of. There is no trapezoid correction, but the distortion is slight. When you start the projector up it does not auto-sense connections. You need to use the navigation buttons on the top to select the input. It has a fan inside to keep the bulb cool. I wouldn't consider it loud, but you can hear it. It didn't bother me or the other folks in the room during my presentation. It has an HDMI input but you need a special cable (included) for VGA. I had to find a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter for my laptop, as well as an extra HDMI cable. Most likely you'll want to consider what adapters you need to buy prior to purchasing this projector. It's a light projector, so don't buy heavy or stiff cables. One thing I wish it did include is a carrying case of some sort, even as an after-sale item. The body is plastic and dropping it will most likely crack it or worse. The lack of a case also increases the likelihood that the lens will get scratched during transportation. I opted to keep the box it shipped in along with the original packaging and use that as a case. It just barely fits into my messenger bag, but it does. Overall I think this is a good value and am very happy with the performance of the projector. This is a very good portable HD projector. It doesn't have the features of a high-end projector, but it makes up for that with its size and the image quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great tool Convenient and very useable projector. I travel with business and the ability to attach to a computer with the hdmi cable is simple and sweet. The size is good but if it were thinner it would be fantastic. The thinner ones were not nearly as high as lumens as this projector so it is worth the extra width. The focus is not very good the dial is loose and the ability to smoothly adjust the focus is hard. The focus needs to be much better but I can work around it. This is a great tool and i would highly recommend it. I just wish that it had a better focus dial.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great projector I have been using this projector in an art installation running it 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, for 3 weeks. It has been working great so far and has an easy interface.
