Dot Line DL-0320 overview

  • 1Description

The Dot Line Triple Flash Bounce Umbrella Mount is all metal and accepts up to three speedlights. The accessory shoes are adjustable for the size of the speedlight foot and are insulated to prevent misfires. A locking screw holds the umbrella in place.

The mount accepts light stand spigots up to 5/8” in size and has a reversible spigot that allows the unit to be mounted on a tripod with either 1/4"-20 or 3/8-16” threads. Additionally, the mount features a tilt mechanism, which is a saw tooth design that comes with a spring-loaded locking screw, allowing easy adjustments to provide a secure, positive lock at the angle the photographer sets.

Triple Flash Bounce Umbrella Mount is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this mount! I bought a cheaper triple flash mount that did not include an umbrella mount thinking it would work out. The construction was plastic which should have been a clear indicator to me that it wouldn't last. It was useless after my second shoot. I found this one, as well as the cheaper one, here on B&H. I read the reviews which mentioned its all metal construction and durability so I purchased it. All I can say is that this is a solid, well built mount that holds all three of my flashes with radio receivers securely! Screws are a little difficult to tighten with the radio receivers attached but manageable. I don't have to worry about my flashes falling out when angling the umbrella either. I would highly recommend this mount!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality construction at last! There are a number of triple-flash mounts available. Most are plastic, and with the weight of three flash units, plus perhaps an umbrella (and maybe some wind), they'll bend and, if you're unlucky, they'll break, maybe trashing your expensive flash units. But this one is well made and sturdy. It's metal, won't break or twist, has serrations in the folding joint to keep it in position after you tighten it, and although it costs more than plastic versions, it's worth it if it saves you from a single accident

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is what I've been looking for I have used several other multi-speedlight brackets but wasn't entirely pleased with the results. I've now used the Triple Flash Bounce Umbrella Mount by Dot Line in several photo shoots and I believe I have found what I've been looking for. It is small yet sturdy enough to comfortably hold three speedlights and a 60 inch umbrella. Unlike other products, I was never concerned that this bracket might not hold up to all the weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Mount Very sturdy, and functions superbly. This mount can hold 3 speedlights to be a more powerful directional light, or can be used to light several angles at once. I love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Think I Found What I Was Looking For I’ve only used this one time, but it seems to be just what I need. I like the idea that the tilt capability is attached right to the triple speedlight connection. It’s sturdy. It’s made of metal. I used a Wescott triple threat prior to this. The first one I had broke when my soft box fell over on my second shoot. So, I cannot, totally, blame Wescott for that one. However, the second one I had broke the first time I used it. The female connection that holds it to the connecting piece broke and came out. I have much higher hope for this Dot Line triple flash holder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All-Metal Construction makes a winner I've owned several other 3-shoe brackets that failed very quickly -- one made of plastic that cracked and another with a metal mount embedded in plastic, which turned in the plastic and made the mount unsteady. Not so with this bracket! I expect a long, meaningful relationship with this beauty!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from more flash power Now I have more controlled flash power by adding additional flashes. Also, you can reduce the output of all the flashes to increse recycle time and still have more power than a single flash.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid and heavy In the dark, no-one can hear a light stand scream...This thing is heavy and solid - it is not going to break. Holds three guns and an umbrella with ease.
