I purchased this to have a backup to my existing 3GDA which had failed one Sunday morning (power supply was the culprit, explanation below). The unit itself is great, zero issues out of the old one and this new one as far as passing signal to each channel. But for some reason the power supplies on mine have gone bad about every 18 months. AJA has been great each time I've had a failure, as it's always happened within the 5 year warranty. This is the 3rd or 4th one to go bad on me though, so I'm not sure if they're sensitive to surges or what (mine is plugged into a UPS/power conditioner, so shouldn't be affected by that). I went ahead and got 3 extra power supplies this time so I don't have to wait for the warrantied part to arrive the next time it happens. Thankfully you can purchase the power supplies separately, but at $59 a pop you'd think they would be more reliable (appears to be a proprietary locking connector).
