Nice little clamp that does the job. I use this semi-permanently mounted on my Peak Designs travel tripod (replacing the standard head). It makes it easy to swap out different tripod heads (my heads have the Kirk Tripod Quick Release Plates on them). It’s just slightly larger than the platform, overhangs it by maybe 2 mm. No bubble level.

I purchased 2 of these, one with the long handle and one with the short. These are small and serve the purpose of the inexpensive Induro (?) tripods I got on sale last month. This solved the problem of a QR that doesn't cost more than the tripod.

The Sunwayfoto Discal Clamp 58mm does not list a load capacity since it is just a clamp. The load capacity will depend mainly on the item the clamp is connected to.

Although 2mm smaller, would this still work on the Arca-Swiss pO Monoball head?

We have not heard of this combination. Our opinion is that it would not work and an original Arca Swiss plate would be best.

When I purchased this it came with a 3/8 to 1/4 reducer only, as the center hole is 3/8 . I did not receive any other hardware.

can this be used to attach multi-purpose rail DPG-3016?

All my Arca style rails fit this clamp so compatibility should not be an issue.However, I personally would not use a 300mm long rail with this clamp as the jaws of this clamp are only some 20-25mm wide. If such a long rail is severely overloaded with heavy equipment at the extreme ends, I would be uncomfortable using this clamp.For a 300mm rail, I would specify a clamp with at least a 50mm wide jaw, if not more when used with heavy equipment.

They are markings so that if you have a rail for panorama work, you can put the rail in precisely the same spot each time you use it.
