Works Fine As Expected -- see notes about rotators

The clamp fits my SunWay rotator and works just fine. I was pleased that this product from B&H comes with the bolts, adaptor, and an allen wrench you need. But I wish I knew when I bought the rotator (which I had earlier bought) that you also need this clamp to mount a camera for panoramas, otherwise you will have problems. I mounted a ball head on the rotator and but it de-couples from the rotator stud when you turn the rotator for panoramas (if you rotate the other way it will tighten and seize up). Turns out you need a discal clamp. The subject clamp solves that problem and works fine with the rotator, but I wish Sunway would make it clear that you really need both for panoramas. I attached a picture showing the clamp mounted to my rotator, which rides on a leveler. Another inexpensive adapter (such as an Arca) is needed to mount the ball head on top. I use for nightscapes, but the same rig would work for any panorama. I
