The 10" Adjustable Camera Platform from Dot Line is designed for very fine camera movements where the photography hinges upon precise adjustments. You can mount it on a tripod or other stand and adjust your camera's position one millimeter at a time to get the camera into just the right position. Combining two platforms will give you the ability to have left/right and front/back adjustments rather than just one of them. It features two 1/4"-20 threaded posts, an adjustment wheel and a lock.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Okay but ,,,,,,, Sometimes you get what you pay for. I needed a means to move a camera laterally while shooting a series of macro shots and the 10 Dot Line Adjustable Camera Platform was okay but nothing more. When first tried it tended to bind towards one end of the slide range. Adjustment of position was a little rough. Also the locking knob needed to be tightened in each position to eliminate camera movement. Then after using it a few times it bound up and the knob and pinion came out of the slide. That was okay for my use because it enabled simply sliding the camera rather than moving it with the knob and pinion. I also have a Manfrotto 454 Micrometric Positioning Sliding Plate which I'm much more satisfied with other than the smaller range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Design I use this for getting my camera off axis to make Brenzier images. Also it's useful for mounting two cameras to make 3D images. Does exactly what you think it would do. Nice solid design.
