Denon DM-39S Overview

The D-M39S Micro Component System from Denon supports a variety of audio sources. It supports your iPod or iPhone, and features a slot-in type CD player and an AM/FM radio. For alternative wired connectivity methods, there is an optical digital input for connecting a variety of digital devices such as your TV. The D-M39S is equipped with a USB port as well, which you can use to play MP3 and WMA audio files from a USB memory device or flash drive.

The component system comes with two Denon SC-M39 speakers. These speakers are equipped with high-definition soft dome tweeters, which give treble frequencies a full-bodied quality. The woofers feature die-cast frames and magnetic motor structures. The D-M39S is equipped with Denon's Simple & Straight circuit design. Circuitry is uncomplicated, signal paths are short, and all adverse influences on sound quality have been minimized.

The component system can complement nearly any space due to its small, compact design.

30W Per Channel
The board and circuit configuration has been redesigned to achieve lower impedance. Since stable current is supplied to the power amp and other sections, it is possible to realize as much as 30W of power per channel
Supports iPod and iPhone
You can listen to music files from your iPod, simply by connecting it to the D-M39S's USB port
D/A Conversion Technology
This system features simple circuitry and short, direct signal pathways, helping minimize distortion and other unwanted sound artifacts. The system also features 192kHz / 32-bit D/A conversion technology, so it can handle high-resolution audio formats
High-Fidelity Speakers
The component system comes with two Denon SC-M39 speakers. These speakers are equipped with high-definition soft dome tweeters. The woofers feature die-cast frames and magnetic motor structures
Amplifier Section
The D-M39S Micro Component System uses a power amplifier section. Engineered with high-grade components, the amplifier section uses a triple noise reduction design to prevent distortion and preserve signal purity
Negligible Distortion
Distortion from the input selector, electronic volume and power amp has been suppressed to improve the signal-to-noise ratio
Triple Noise Reduction Design
In an audio component where various circuits, boards, and wire layouts can influence each other, it is not possible to obtain satisfying specifications or sound simply by strengthening the power amp circuit. Denon has therefore eliminated three sources of noise to ensure clean sound
Simple & Straight Circuit Design
Circuitry is uncomplicated, signal paths are short, and all adverse influences on sound quality have been minimized. The circuit design and the way the chassis is built ensure that the sound you hear is utterly faithful to the original performance
Built-in FM Radio
The unit's disc player can play back CD and CD-RW discs and is compatible with MP3 and WMA file formats. The built-in FM stereo tuner features 40 presets
Connect to a Variety of Devices
Equipped with a range of inputs and outputs, the system gives you plenty of connectivity options. The system features a stereo line and an optical digital input, enabling connections to HDTVs, Blu-ray players, cable and satellite tuners. You can also playback audio from MP3 players, smartphones, and thumb drives thanks to the USB input located on the front panel

Environmentally-Friendly Recharge Function
Recharging of an iPhone or iPod touch starts automatically when it is connected to the D-M39S during use, and it continues even when the D-M39S enters standby mode. When the iPhone or iPod touch is fully charged and the D-M39S is still not in use, the standby mode enters its normal status of lowest power consumption
Easy Timer Setting
The D-M39S's 2-line display is fully utilized to make it easier for you to set the timer
