I used this to connect a Sound Devices 302 to a Roland R-05 in my Petrol bag. It worked for what I needed, but it's not very long. If I had my recorder in another place, it wouldn't reach. Much cheaper than the Sound Devices cable.

Does it send a stereo signal via the 3.5mm trs end? Most of cable I found only send mono and are used for IFB systems. I need a cable that to send stereo from a mixer (Ta3f) to camera(3.5). Thanks
The audio signal from the Laird SD-AUD5-01 cable will be dual-mono which means that you will hear the same audio on both the left and right sides. Since you are sending line level output from a mixer to the mic level 3.5mm input on a camera, you should use a level matching cable to pad the mixer's output signal for compatibility with the camera's input. The mixer probably has separate left and right outputs as well. Use the Sescom SES-43DB-# 43 dB Pad DSLR Attenuating Line to Mic Level Cable - 18" (B&H # SES43DBMZ2XJ) on the camera end which is Y-cable with a 3.5mm TRS male connector to dual standard XLR 3-pin male and combine it with a pair of Laird Digital Cinema TA3F 3-Pin Female Mini-XLR to 3-Pin XLR Male Cable - 2 Pack, 10' (B&H # LASDAUD210) to connect from the mixer's left and right TA3 outputs. The end result will be a Y-cable with line-to-mic attenuation to send the left and right TA3 outputs from the mixer to the camera's 3.5mm mic input.
