This Impact 1/4"-20 Threaded 3/8" Stud for Stand Top attaches to any stand with a 1/4"-20 male threaded top stud so that any Impact-type crossbar or other portable background crossbar with 3/8" mounting holes at each end can be used with the stand.

I used these with two light stands to make a backdrop stand in a tight. It works! Handy to have in an emergency.
Anyone using mobile backdrop stands and crossbars know these threaded extensions are must haves. We purchased a couple extra pairs since we've had to add additional backdrops/crossbars to some on location shoots. Bummed they're not sold as a pre-packaged pair and at over $5/ea, they seem a bit pricey...but definitely needed!
