Dot Line Single Handgrip Overview

The P&C Handgrip from Dot Line Corp manufactured by Photography and Cinema is an ergonomic camera grip designed to provide a secure comfortable grip while shooting video with cameras ranging in size from mirrorless "Point and Shoot" to small sized HDSLRs. The wide camera mounting platform has the advantage of providing increased lateral support for wide profile cameras, and the rubber mounting pad helps prevent the camera from loosening from and spinning on the grip.

The handle itself has a rubberized feel making it both comfortable to hold and slip resistant. The independent screw mount stud allows you to adjust the camera's orientation on the grip, for maximum support and comfort. The handle comes with a metal 1/4"-20 female receiver at the bottom of the handle for mounting accessories to or for attaching the grip itself to a tripod.

Included with the P&C grip is a removable D-ring which can be screwed into the 1/4"-20 receiver. The D-Ring allows the P&C Grip to be hooked onto belt loops, key rings, key chains, safety lines, and more, using commonly available carabiners or other means of carrying or securing equipment. There is even a small built in plastic loop for attaching an optional wrist strap.

If you just need a handle grip it’s okay. Really plastic feeling and kinda cheaply made. But gets the job done I should have gotten a different one.

Simple but effective!

Whether you're holding a Cellphone, Shotgun Mic, or Focused Lighting this really adds to stability. The combination of the large contact area and the finger wells in the handle really takes stress off your hands.

question

Has anyone used this with the lomokino 35mm film camera? As they have discontinued the original handgrip and I am trying to find an alternative.

This will work with the Lomography LomoKino 35mm Film Camera B&H # LOK35 very well.

Could this support a heavier camera say 10+ lbs?

Yes, can attach the P&C Handgrip to larger cameras. Do be careful though because attachments that connect with one mounting point are less secure. This could cause issues depending on how large the camera is.

You won't be able to attach it to the Z-Finder per se but you can attach it to the camera (where the tripod gets connected to).

question

Canon 7D II with 100-400 II and wondering if anyone has used this with a Kirk foot?
Asked by: Anonymous
I have not used this with a Kirk foot. I am quite familiar with Kirk Products and use the Cobra Head for most of my action photography using up to 800mm on a Dx Body. I used the particular handgrip for my Sony Action Cam while skiing. It worked well and felt balanced in my hand.
