Good quality, however if you use a Bowens ring the only one that will fit is the Profoto ring which costs $119.00. Also if you want to collapse the soft box you will need to pull out the supporting wires and reinstall them every time. B and H has other brands of soft boxes that dont require a $119.00 ring. I really only use the ones that allow you to quickly collapse the softbox. If you were only going to shoot in your own studio then ease of collapsing the softbox is not an issue however the cost of the speed ring is ridiculous.
I bought this Profoto 1x1.3 softbox for a hairlight I use for headshots or a nice one light setup that is portable with my 7B or B1 Profoto strobe. I like that it's very easy to set up and versitile as a modifer. Sometimes I use it as a makeshift 7 reflector (without any diffusion). Alot of the times the 7 reflector Profoto makes isn't the greatest to pack or travel with!
This little softbox produces soft creamy light perfect to light a face. It's rugged and portable.
Great softbox and versatile. Great construction. If you had ever even seen this in person or just touched it you will definitely know how durable and how well the construction is.
high quality materials. easy to put together. Although the speedring for this is expensive. I purchased a off brand speedring and it works just fine. Get the grid for better control of the light.
