iOptron combined the form and function of a short 90mm refractor with a versatile GoTo mount to give you the CubePro-90 90mm f/5.6 Refractor Telescope with CubePro Mount. The Optical Tube Assembly (OTA) features a doublet achromatic lens system with their proprietary anti-reflection fully multicoated optics to produce clear and bright images without distortion across the entire field of view, with true color rendition and reduced chromatic and spherical aberrations. It has a fast f/5.6 focal length which makes it ideal for astrophotography of the Moon, planets, or bright and large deep-sky objects.

Complementing the scope's performance is their CubePro GoTo alt-az mount. It sports a compact mount design that measures a mere 8x5x5" while being a functional & flexible motorized computer-controlled unit for most star gazing duties. Both axis motors are built into a small single unit with an 8lb payload capacity to easily handle the OTA and accessories. The unique design eliminates "dead spots" enabling you to point your telescope to any point above the horizon, unlike other mounts which tend to block the telescope tube at certain points of rotation.

This rig comes with an array of accessories, starting with a 1" stainless steel tripod to provide a solid observational base. Two eyepieces yield magnifications of 20x and 50x, and the rack-and-pinion focuser accepts any other 1.25" eyepieces and accessories adding to its versatile nature. An included 45° erect-image diagonal corrects images horizontally and vertically when using the OTA as a spotting scope, while the 2X Barlow lens effectively doubles the magnification of each eyepiece.

iOptron R90 90mm f/5.6 Doublet Refractor Telescope (OTA Only)

The R90 90mm f/5.6 Doublet Refractor Telescope from iOptron features a doublet achromatic lens system with their proprietary anti-reflection fully multicoated optics to produce images with reduced chromatic and spherical aberrations for clear and bright images without distortion across the entire field of view, with true color rendition. This is a versatile optical tube assembly that can be employed as a simple grab-and-go primary telescope, or as a terrestrial spotting scope. An included 45° erect-image diagonal corrects images horizontally and vertically when using the OTA as a spotting scope. The scope is offered without a mount or tripod, but an included Vixen-style dovetail plate makes it compatible with any alt-az or equatorial mount with a Vixen-style saddle.

iOptron CubePro GoTo Alt-Az Mount with Tripod

iOptron's CubePro GoTo Alt-Az Mount sports a compact mount design that measures a mere 8x5x5" while being a functional and flexible motorized computer-controlled unit for most stargazing duties. Both axis motors are built into a small single unit that is compatible with all telescope optical tube assemblies (OTAs) with a Vixen-style dovetail plate up to 8 lb including accessories. The unique design eliminates "dead spots," enabling you to point your telescope to any point above the horizon, unlike other mounts that tend to block the telescope tube at certain points of rotation. This mount comes with a 110 VAC adapter to power it if you're near civilization, but if you're heading off the grid it can run on eight user-supplied AA batteries. A 1.25" stainless steel tripod is provided so all you need is a compatible OTA to start your observation session.

Included with the mount is the Go2Nova computer controller. This handheld unit features a 150,000-object database with 60 user-defined customizable objects for your favorite celestial bodies. The easy-to-use menu-driven system displays on an 4-line, 21-character backlit screen. This fully GoTo-capable unit has automatic tracking for fast-moving near-space objects, such as the Sun, Moon, and planets, and slower moving deep-sky objects like nebulae and galaxies. It also has custom speeds that users can program themselves if they are imaging or taking medium-exposure sky-scape photos. For setup or manual use it has nine slew speeds starting at 1x and topping out at 4°/sec. To make sure you get observing faster, the controller has multiple alignment procedures, plus a 32-channel GPS receiver that provides the mount with accurate date/time/location information. For improved tracking, you have the ability to program out periodic errors that might occur during long-duration tracking, and there is also backlash compensation to eliminate settling that might occur at certain points due to the gaps in the gears. The Go2Nova controller is powered by the mount to make use easier and simple while reducing the unit's weight.
