Trying to balance a 14 Meade SCT OTA on the normal iOptron CEM70 mount counter weight bar was getting up to 80#'s. Using simple ratio mathematics I opted to add the extension bar. Doing this kept the counter weight down to 40#'s. John B. Spokane

This extension bar allows me to add additional weight to the iEQ45 Pro mount to extend the weight distribution of my telescope setup and allow the use of a lower total weight as the counterbalance.
