Its gasketed lid is held fast with dual PowerClaw latches. This patented latch system uses compressive force to tightly clamp the case shut to a waterproof and dustproof IP67 rating, with an integrated slide lock that prevents the case from opening during transport or if dropped. For additional security, there are two 0.3" padlock holes integrated into the case and lid. Simply place the foam pieces in your case, place items you wish to store on top of the largest foam piece, mark gear outlines, and remove pick-and-pluck cubes as required. The insert consists of a convoluted piece for the lid, a protective base pad on the bottom, and a prescored cubed layer for the middle. When measuring your gear to the case and removing the cubes, make sure to leave two inches around the perimeter to guard against side impact.
