Who knew I'd buy an orange case?

I did buy the orange one, only because for some reason it was less expensive than the other colors. But I like the orange! It stands out, kind of a traffic safety cone orange. Anyway, I bought this to safely pack away some old MF Nikon mount telephoto lenses in the original cases. A 70-200, 100-300/4, and a 500 mirror, all in the original leather cases. Those three fit fine in here. I've used Pelican cases for years, and these, to me, are just as nice. I actually like the latches a little better on these. It's a sturdy case, as light as it can be to be that strong, has nice foam in two pluck layers plus bottom and top, a good hinge, and a nice handle. I like that they're from our friends to the north, to me that's just about the same as made here. Not my first one of this make, and not the last I'm sure.

Feels like a tank

Feels like it'd be more likely to survive a plane crash than I would. Latches like to pop back on so just a tad fiddly opening it up but definitely won't open up by accident. On sale for $80 feels like a no brainer.
