The all-aluminum chassis, leg tubes, and flip locks combine into a stable camera support that holds up to 11 lb and reaches a maximum height of 64.5". The 190 Pro has a tilting center column that easily disengages from the chassis upon its full extension. This 90° horizontal tilt combines with the tripod's low-angle leg setting to enable extremely low setups for macro photography and more - you can get as low as 3.3" from the ground.
The 496RC2 Compact Ball Head with RC2 Quick Release Plate is constructed of die-cast aluminum, strong enough to support SLR or DSLR cameras with a medium lens, and light medium format cameras. It has a single repositionable locking lever, ±90° tilt movement, plus friction control for precise positioning. Cameras are attached to the ball head with the 200PL-14 Plate by a 1/4" male thread. The head to tripod attachment has a 3/8" female thread. Additionally, the Quick Release has a safety system to prevent an accidental detaching from the head.
