The InFocus INF-USB2HDMI USB to HDMI External Video and Audio Adapter enables you to add an HDMI output to any PC as well as to an InFocus Monopad display. The adapter acts as a video card and enables you to connect an HDMI monitor, TV, or projector to your computer's USB port. With the adapter connected to a USB port, you can easily extend, mirror, or rotate your desktop to another display without having to install a video card. The adapter has a DisplayLink DL-195 processor inside and uses the DisplayLink Core Software driver for Windows 7 (64-bit) to operate.
Compatibility
The adapter works with the INF5520 Monopad, the giant tablet from InFocus, as well as virtually any PC with a USB port. Although this adapter is a Monopad accessory, it can also be used with other computers where an additional monitor-out port is needed. In addition, up to six adapters can be supported on a single computer. Each additional adapter requires computer resources to operate and adapter performance is dependent upon the processing power available, as well as the operating system in use. More capable systems offer higher performance. InFocus recommends that you use a powered USB hub if your computer has run out of USB ports and additional USB ports are needed.
Output Resolution
Supports up to 1920 x 1200 or 2048 x 1152 (wide) and 24-bit true color.
Sound Support
Stereo (2-channel) audio is transferred through the HDMI output.
