How can this device have 2x and 3x option since the viewing area has the same size?
Does the 3x crop the image?

The Kaiser Diascop Mini 3 Slide Viewer with 3x Lens and Folding Arm (BH #KAVDM3 • MFR #202010) has 3x magnification. The Kaiser Diascop Mini 2 Slide Viewer with 2x Lens and Folding Arm (BH #KAVDM2 • MFR #202011) has 2x magnification. On the product page on our site one can select which model one wants under where it says "Magnification". One can choose one or the other model, but neither model would have both magnifications.
