The Smithson Martin 32" 2-point-Touch Emulator Dual View System is a 2-point-point, multi-touch, glass MIDI control surface that allows you to customize your own controller setup. The system comprises an aluminum stand which supports a 32" panel of touch-sensitive tempered glass. The emulator control interface is projected onto the glass from behind by an upward facing projector. The system is designed for studio production, video editing, DJing, VJing, lighting, podium presentations and other applications that involve MIDI.
The controller uses Smithson Martin's Emulator Pro software that allows you to customize and calibrate your controller setup with virtual touch-sensitive objects such as sliders, faders, circular knobs, buttons, jog wheels, and graphics. The parameters of these objects such as angle rotation, opacity, and color may be edited within the Emulator Pro software.
A variety of templates designed by both Smithson Martin and the Emulator user community are available for software such as Ableton Live, Traktor, Arkaos, Torq, Mixvibes, Resolume, Serato, and others. You can start with an existing template, modify the control parameters to your liking, and then share it online.
For I/O, the projector connects to your computer's video output via UXGA, WXGA, SXGA+, SXGA, SVGA, or VGA. Control MIDI signals are sent to your computer via USB 2.0.
