The fast f/1.8 maximum aperture and 100-12800 ISO range are useful for shooting in low light and optical image stabilization further reduces the effect of camera shake. The retro design of the XF1 incorporates a retractable lens mechanism that offers manual focus and zoom functions as well as control over the camera's power.
