I use the product to attach accessories on top of my D2x hotshoe. It worked perfectly and was exactly as expected. I do feel that it was slightly overpriced.

Within two minutes of mounting this on my bracket my sb900 hit the floor. The plastic is to weak and it bends right out of the shoe when a flash is added. Get the metal shoe instead and save yourself the trouble and bother of this accessory they are junk.

Good idea, but too slippery and flimsy

I attempted to use these on the underside of my Radiopopper PX brackets so I could attach them to my cold shoe umbrella brackets. No good, they spin even when tightened down to the point of damage. The plastic is slippery and will not grip no matter how tightly you screw it down. Also, the plastic is kind of malleable, it does not snap, which is good... but, it smushes down when over-tightened.

Flimsy but does what I need it to do: allows me to mount a Zoom H2 to my hot shoe on a low budget.

Great for adapting to a hotshoe mount.
