I bought this to use with my Cinela Pianissimo DMS rig, and it has been great. One thing to note is that when using this with the Cinela rig, the Mid and Side channels are swapped coming from Cinela's CLR-7.

Would this work as a breakout cable for a Beyerdynamic mc833 mic?
Given B&H does not carry the Beyerdynamic mc833 microphone, we cannot say definitively. However, the pin-out for both the Ambient Recording SKA-DMS and the mic are the same. There should be no issue integrating the two.
