Anton/Bauer QRC-BMD Overview

The Anton Bauer QRC-BMD Gold Mount Plate allows you to add extended battery power, along with support for two accessories, to your Blackmagic Cinema Camera or Production Camera 4K.

It features a dedicated 2.5mm unregulated DC connector compatible with the camera, and is designed to be attached to the Anton Bauer MATRIX Universal Cheese Plate and third-party cheese plates with the Anton Bauer mounting pattern. It mounts securely by the screws provided. The QRC-BMD features two P-Tap outputs that can be used at the same time as powering the camera

All works as advertised except for connecting this to a camera or set of rods. That will set you back another $

Do you need accessories to connect this to the BMCC 4K?

This is designed to be attached to a Cheese Plate, Axler has such an option with 15mm Rod connections, BH #AXCP81515LWS. This Axler product would then go on the same 15mm baseplate system that the Production Camera 4K or Cinema Camera 2.5K is on. If you do not have such a baseplate IndiPro Tools makes a great option, BH #INDIB. Finally you will need Gold Mount Batteries for power.
