Great for increasing your light diffusion - by itself or when combined with a softbox.

Beyond the whiter shade of pale... am I being diffuse?

I have been using 216 since I was a wee 2nd electric back in the 80s and it has never failed me for a tough, heat-resistant, uniform diffusing material. I always have a roll in my kit and usually salvage scraps off the set. You never know when a softer touch is necessary. Except for Date Night. ALWAYS use a softer touch on Date Night...

Pfft... belongs in everyones kit

It's diffusion so there's not too much to say. It's great for a specific look, which is no shadows and soft, even light. I wouldn't use it all the time, but for that specific look, which we actually use a lot in promos & commercials, it's great. The roll allows us to cut 4x4 sheets, 6x4, etc, whatever you need, or use it directly on the roll. Whatever you want. That's why I get the roll. Very versatile. I like 216, half soft frost, full grid cloth, and light grid cloth.

Works great

I use 216 diffusion on everything from my Arri Fresnels, Profoto Strobes and the standard household lamp. It holds up well against heat and the same piece can be used time and time again if taken care of... ie rolled up at the end of a shoot. MAke sure you use clips to hold this diffusion in place... I've found that gaff tape eats it up

Exactly what I purchased and more

I love shopping on B&H for my grip needs since they are super responsive and get my order out to me the fastest and the most economical way vs. other companies and products are mostly name brand items and of top quality.

Easy to use, produces great results

This is essential for product photography as it provides such a great highlight and quality of light. Having the roll grants me more versatility on set too, giving us the option to cut it down to fit specific sizes.

Hi. What would this diffusion compare to a cloth diffusion?
Asked by: Facundo V.
This diffusion would be the same as a one stop white silk.
