Capturing Couture SLR20 2" Wide Camera Strap Reviews
Beautiful & Functional!
I have used neoprene neck straps for years. While their give makes them easy to wear around the neck, transferring them to shoulder carry was a whole other ballgame: they were constantly slipping off, despite all the rubber dots lining their inner surface. I recently discovered the straps made by Capturing Couture, and was immediately captured. Not only are they beautiful and elegant, they are quite functional, too. The padded inner material tenaciously grips onto my cotton shirts when wearing them on my shoulder, and the padding itself is comfortable when worn around the neck. The only thing I don't like about them is the lack of a quick release connector, which was always why I gravitated to the neoprene strap maker in the first place. The straps were easy to remove for video shooting, and swap out with other straps if I wanted a different color. So, after no small amount of research on the web, I arrived at a solution: 1/2 swivel snap hooks in gun metal gray that attach to the strap on one end, and split rings on the camera's strap lugs on the other. With Nikon & Sony, this is easy, as they already have split rings attached to their lugs. Canon was a bit trickier getting the split ring attached, but a jeweler's screwdriver was sufficient to keep the ring open long enough to thread it onto the lug. My R5 is pictured. With this minor modification, I think I have found the perfect strap, and have replaced the neoprene straps with these on all my cameras.
Great Neck Strap
I like colorful next neck straps and the straps that Capturing Couture make are colorful, well made and comfortable.
