Lamp is exactly as described. As an added bonus, it came with replacement filters that have changed design. Out with the old foam-disintegrating-in-your-hand style, and in with the new HVAC filter mimicking style.

I'm an AV technician at a large university, and these bulbs are the real deal (original OEM NEC bulbs/electronics). In fact, NEC told me to call B&H for faster shipping of their bulbs. You can see that the bulb housing says NEC (left image). The only issue we had is when you have dual projectors in a room. This new bulb is 10% - 20% brighter, as compared to non NEC bulbs. Yes, the bulb is somewhat expensive, but if you want the best performance out of your projector, this is the bulb.

Depends on howling it stays on.. 3-6months.
